BRAINMASTER AND THE BRAIN PACKAGE ASSESMENT/TREATMENT
BrainMaster: BrainMaster offers the most cutting edge and comprehensive variety of Clinical Electroencephalography, 3D Brain Imaging, qEEG (quantitative electroencephalography) and Neurofeedback on the market. Application areas include real-time imaging utilizing sLORETA, normative databases and pre/post therapeutic comparison. Clinical and personal database driven Neurofeedback, biofeedback, peak-performance, research, VR and brain-controlled systems.
Brain training (also known as neurofeedback) usually involves 2-3 sessions/week, 15-45 minutes per session, depending on your goals. Small sensors are placed on your head to record brainwave activity using real-time displays of EEG. Brain training can include a QEEG assessment, where your brain function is compared to a normative database and converted to a brain map. Brain training is also known as Neurofeedback, which is a non-invasive method of direct brain function training through brainwaves.
Brain Mapping: A detailed 3d brain map is an assessment tool used to evaluate the electrical activity in a person’s brain, and create a brain wave profile. This information informs our understanding of the underlying cause(s) of a patient’s symptoms.
The brain mapping technology captures a picture of the brain’s delta, theta, alpha, beta & gamma wave activity. It then analyzes the data, creating a visual roadmap for each part of the brain.
We are able to using brain mapping to analyze brain activity post injury. With this information our doctors have a better idea what modalities are best suited to alleviate symptoms relating to condition. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy and M6 Cold Laser are proven to boost recovery from concussions and traumatic brain injuries.
CNS Vital Signs: A comprehensive scientifically-validated psychological assessment tool used to quantify core aspects of cognitive function. We evaluate areas of the brain responsible for short-term memory, and more, giving us a baseline brain function assessment to help determine areas of improvement and create a training plan.
This is a valuable tool in evaluating processing issues related to psychological and neurological problems. If pertinent, this and the brain map are sent off for neurological review, which provides vital information and further evaluation for the patient.
Neurofeedback: the purpose of neurofeedback is to identify abnormal brainwave patterns and make them normal by teaching your brain to self-regulate through a stimulus-reward based feedback system.
Think of your brain as a radio – some stations come in clear, while others seem a bit fuzzy. With neurofeedback, you train your brain to tap into the perfect frequency at the right channel, to make sure the station comes in nice and clear.
Heart Rate Variability Training: aka biofeedback is a training modality of using guided breathing techniques that activate the parasympathetic (rest and digest) nervous system, allowing you to achieve a sense of peace and calm to help you effectively manage stress.
Improving the interval of your heartbeats through heart rate variability training has relevance in promoting physical, mental, and emotional optimization.
Vielight: Alpha and Gamma
Vielight alpha and gamma neurostimulation and photobiomodulation is the use of infrared lights (NIR) in alpha, beta, and gamma frequencies to stimulate mitochondria in the ventral (deep brain) and cortical (surface layer) cells to produce more energy to help your brain reach the right levels of electrical activity to normalize your brain waves.
With all of the methods for brain training at Bloch Wellness, the information from brain mapping allows us to identify which parts of your brain are operating efficiently and which sections need training – to help you live optimally, and relieve you of the symptoms that interfere with day to day living.
